The Knowledge Assessment contains 75 multiple choice questions and is only the first of two steps towards becoming a MasterWord approved health care interpreter. Examinees are allowed 45 minutes to complete the assessment. In order to pass the test and advance to the oral portion, you must receive a score of 80% or greater.
The Performance Assessment consists of five mini-consecutive interpreting scenarios and one brief document to be sight translated. In order to pass, you must receive a score of 75% or greater.
