Intro to Medical Terminology

The skills learned during the lecture and exercises of this unit are designed to facilitate the understanding and appropriate use of terminology used in different setting of a medical encounter. Students are expected to create a foundation upon which further development can be achieved.

1. Demonstrates the ability to dissect basic and complex medical terminology.
2. Predicts medical vocabulary to be used based on the understanding of the terminology provided.
3. Demonstrates a deep understanding of the concepts and components of different terminology.
4. Successfully engages in an active professional development building upon the principles learned.
