This training course includes webinars, as well as quizzes. You will take approximately 3 hours to complete it. It covers the role of interpreters in courts. Accredited CEUs: .4 RID.

This workshop will provide participants with information about the basic role of the interpreter in legal proceedings, as well as the proper protocol that is to be used inside the courtroom. It reviews the three modes of interpretation used in the courtroom, as well as the proper protocol. Participants will have an opportunity to learn about the Judicial Branch Certification Commission Code of Ethics and to use critical thinking skills in applying the canons of the code of ethics in real-life situations.
