Each episode includes activities that mimic the exam for your practice and assessment. This season is much more than honing your skills in each section. It allows you to get familiarized with the exam structure and dedicate your exam time to answering the questions themselves. You will take 1 hour at most to complete each episode, which means the entire season adds up to 7 hours of study.

Background:
CCHI has offered an independent, national, comprehensive certification program to medical interpreters of all languages since 2009. One of them is the CoreCHI-Performance Certification, a certification for interpreters of all languages. It includes two exams: the knowledge CoreCHI exam and the performance English-to-English, or ETOE, exam. All CoreCHI certificants qualify to take the ETOE exam and earn the CoreCHI-P certification. As of 2023, transitioning to the CoreCHI-P certification is voluntary. Starting in 2025, this transition will become mandatory, and the CoreCHI certificants will have to earn the CoreCHI-P certification within 1-2 years.
The ETOE exam is time-limited and is 60 minutes long. It is a medical interpreter monolingual performance exam and consists of seven sections that assess various interpreting cognitive skills.
